BRAND IDENTITY GRAPHIC DESIGN MARKETING

A close-knit community for the next generation of entrepreneurs at Carnegie Mellon.

vSigma Eta Pi (SEP) is a co-ed entrepreneurship fraternity dedicated to fostering innovation, leadership, and collaboration among ambitious students. I worked on brand development and marketing to launch the first chapter at Carnegie Mellon University, creating a cohesive visual language that captured SEP’s entrepreneurial spirit. This project encompassed event promotions, social media strategy, and storytelling to drive engagement for each semester’s recruitment.

The result? A memorable launch that laid the foundation for SEP’s presence at CMU and successfully attracted the first waves of passionate members.

Branding & Digital Material

The design process centered on creating bold, simple graphics that brought CMU’s school colors together with strong typography, and energetic layouts, designed to attract ambitious students ready to dive into the fast-paced startup world.

Event graphics utilized art and pop culture references to appeal to our Gen Z audience.

Initial visuals aligned with the idea of a rocket getting ready to launch
pushing limits, embracing possibilities, and dreaming beyond horizons.

We run “yearbook”-themed photoshoots for each class, with an emphasis on capture each member’s indentity in a fun, playful way. Drawing heavy inspiration from ’90s and early 2000s magazines, I developed the creative direction and layout design to create visuals that celebrate our community in a bold and memorable way.

Reflections

Designing for Sigma Eta Pi has been incredibly rewarding as both a creative and a collaborator. Being part of the organization allowed me to connect with incredibly talented individuals from a wide range of disciplines—engineers, designers, business strategists, and more—each bringing their own unique perspective and energy. I had the opportunity to build a startup from a ground up as a UI/UX designer, as well as get involved in many more projects. These relationships went beyond professional networking; they grew into genuine connections rooted in shared ambition and creativity.
