UI/UX BRAND IDENTITY

Preserving and celebrating the legacies of loved ones forever.

Eternify is a startup dedicated to preserving the legacies of loved ones through digital memorials, allowing users to scan a QR toden to access a digital profile where cherished memories, messages, and stories can be uploaded and stored. By utilizing blockchain technology, Eternify ensures that these memories are securely preserved, maintaining their integrity for future generations.
As part of a two-person design team, I contributed to the platform's creation from the ground up, leading efforts in branding, product design, and user experience development.

Our Goals

1. Preserving Legacies Permanently
Traditional memorials often fail to capture the full scope of a person's life, and digital platforms risk data loss or obsolescence. Eternify ensures stories, achievements, and memories are securely stored on the blockchain, offering a permanent way to preserve legacies for future generations.

2. Enhancing Traditional Cemeteries
Cemeteries can feel static and disconnected, offering little insight into the lives they honor. By integrating QR code tokens, we can transform gravestones into interactive portals, allowing visitors to explore rich digital profiles and leave messages, bringing more life and connection to these sacred spaces.

User Flow and Design System

Mobile and Web Interface

Designed intuitive and responsive interfaces for both mobile and web, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility across devices.

User flow that integrates the digital platform with the physical QR token experience.

Style Guide
Assembled a style guide and cohesive UI kit for our development team, featuring serene color palettes and typography: soft serif headers paired with clean, minimalist supporting type for an elegant and calming design aesthetic.

Reflections

Collaborating closely with developers in a startup environment was an incredibly hands-on experience. I honed essential soft skills like pacing workflows, adapting to rapid changes, and communicating effectively with non-designers to align on goals and execution.

Iteration was at the heart of this project. Our platform evolved through countless tweaks and refinements, with every iteration shaping the product into a living, dynamic creation that reflected both user needs and team collaboration.
